VAMPIRELLA GETS MOVING IN VISIONBOOKS RELEASE
To celebrate Vampirella's 45th anniversary, Dynamite Entertainment published the anthology mini-series entitled Feary Tales which included work from Nancy A. Collins, Joe R. Lansdale, Gail Simone, Devin Grayson, and more. Now it's getting a literal new dimension as the publisher has partnered with digital comics studio Visionborne to produce a special edition release of the book through the Visionbooks platform to include movement and visual effects in every panel.
Feary Tales is a five-issue mini-series filled with “twisted tales, bizarre bedtime stories, and fearsome fables in the tradition of the original Warren magazines, each featuring everyone's favorite sexy, kick-ass vampire-turned-monster hunter.” Nancy A. Collins assembled the creative teams and framed each story with Vampirella fighting her way through them through an enchanted book.
The first issue of Vampirella: Feary Tales is available free, but you'll need to install the Visionbooks app on your iPad or Android device in order to read it. I'm not sure if it's a mistake or not, but the other four issues are also listed as free at the moment so act fast.
