I've noticed that over the past few years, trailers for books seem to be getting more and more popular. Some contain just a voice over some still images, while others go all out. The trailers for Charlie Higson's "The Enemy" series have been part of the latter group and the one for his upcoming The Sacrifice looks to be no different if the behind-the-scenes pictures are any indication.

What's even more cool about this particular trailer, though, is the fans were a big part of it. According to the press release, a "...small army of zombie 'sickos' and talented young actors were filmed at a secret location in South London." That's pretty awesome, putting some of the fans in the trailer (which Higson himself created and directed).

The fourth installment in "The Enemy" series, The Sacrifice will be published by Puffin on September 20th. Having enjoyed the darkness of this universe from the beginning, I can't wait to see wait The Sacrifice has to offer.

He's the puppet master. You don't see him, but he pulls the strings that gets things done. He's the silent partner. He's black ops. If you notice his presence, it's the last thing you'll notice — because now you're dead. He's the shadow you thought you saw in that dark alleyway. You can have a conversation with him, and when you turn around to offer him a cup of coffee, he's already gone.
