Everyone wants to be in comics now.  It's a pretty fun industry, albeit one filled with blood, sweat, and tears.  Movies, TV shows, and podcasts are getting adapted to their own funny books.  One such example comes from indie publisher Source Point Press, which will be releasing a graphic novel based on the horror sitcom, Holliston, created by filmmaker Adam Green.  The comic is written by Greg Wright, illustrated by Stephen Sharar, and colored by Joshua Werner.  It's based on a concept by Gary Sobek.

Characters from the TV series will appear in this brand-new stand-alone adventure, entitled Holliston: Friendship is Tragic. Adam, Joe, Corri, and Laura will put their friendship to the test when Adam finds a cursed credit card and uses it to buy his friends some Halloween gifts.  Before they know it, mad killers, giant monsters, and evil aliens are on the loose, not to mention the deadliest threat of all: Success.  Will the gang sell out?  Will they ever speak to each other again?  What's the return policy for cursed credit card purchases?

“For a newer publisher like us to be given an opportunity of this magnitude, by a creator like Adam, is beyond huge,” says Editor-In-Chief Travis McIntire. Our number one priority is to release a book that he’ll be proud has the Holliston name.”

I was completely unaware of this show until this announcement came through my inbox.  It sounds like a fun sitcom though and the transition to comics is something that's certainly right up my alley.  Holliston: Friendship is Tragic is currently slated for release in October 2016.
