Monster Pictures Announces November Release for Thanatomorphose.

It's a title that's ripe for typographical errors and the subject matter could well put you off casual sex for life. Monster Pictures has announced its acquisition of Eric Falardeau's Thanatomorphose for UK and Australia/New Zealand distribution. The title means the physical signs of a body's decomposition caused by death. Read on for the official info and check out the trailer and stills below.

Following its world premiere at Fantasia, genre distributor Monster Pictures announces its acquisition of gruesome body-horror movie Thanatomorphose with a first look at the new trailer.

A Cronenbergian smorgasbord of rancid flesh and sexual gratification, Thanatomorphose, by Canadian director Eric Falardeau, picks up where Nekromantik left off.

Discovering several bruises on her body after a night of rough sex, a young woman is shocked as, rather than heal itself, her body begins rotting from the inside out.

She faces a terrifying and gory descent into a living death, as her putrefying body begins to literally 'fall off the bone'.

A strange and claustrophobic tale of sexuality, horror and bodily fluids, Thanatomorphose will not only make you wince, but is strangely uplifting in its take on mortality.

Monster Pictures – the genre distributor of edgy and cult titles including the Human Centipede movies, American Mary, ABCs of Death, and Maniac - will be releasing Thanatomorphose in November in the UK and Australia/NZ.

Thanatomorphose won the Best Movie award in 2012 at the XXXI Festival de Cine de Terror de Molins de Rei in Spain and Best Special Effects at the A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Australia. It stars Kayden Rose, Davyd Tousignant and Émile Beaudry.
