ESCAPE FROM BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA NEW YORK...WAIT. WHAT?
Comic book crossovers have been making a comeback in recent years and I absolutely love it. Some have fulfilled wishes I've had since I was a kid like TMNT / Ghostbusters. Others are just really fun like Gotham Academy / Lumberjanes. BOOM! Studios has announced a new one that should make any '80s kid happy. Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China is set to meet Snake Plissken from Escape from New York.
Set to debut in October, the six-issue limited series will be written by Greg Pak with art by Daniel Bayliss. It's the first time two John Carpenter creations have crossed over in any medium.
We don't have any other info at this time. This is just one of many announcements the publisher has made leading up to San Diego Comic Con which is currently in full swing. I'm sure we'll have more coming soon because this book sounds awesome.
