CLAY MCLEOD CHAPMAN SCARES AUDIENCE ONE PERSON AT A TIME
Even if you’re not that interested in the theatre, I’ve got a show for you. Beginning on September 2nd and running every Sunday through October 7th, Clay McLeod Chapman will be terrifying audiences one at a time with The Pumpkin Pie Show: One-on-Ones. Chapman will take one audience member at a time on a dark ride through the domestic horrors of the everyday, finding terror within our own households. Ranging from the darkly humorous to the strangely heartbreaking, the show is described as “Edgar Allan Poe for the modern age.”

The shows are held at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place). Tickets are $15 each and there is very limited seating for obvious reasons. You can buy tickets in advance at FRIGIDnewyork.info.
There are eight stories in all, including four which are making their NYC premiere. Audience members will have the chance to select their own story. This sounds like an unsettling experience that I really want to try out.
