SPAWN DEBUTS ON DIGITAL

It's almost hard to believe that there are comics out there nowadays that aren't available digitally. Up until last week, Todd McFarlane's Spawn was one of those comics. Now the 250 issue library from Image Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions is available on comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and ImageComics.com.

This debut is in conjunction with the release of Spawn #250. It's a milestone for McFarlane who first released Spawn #1 back in 1992. This is one of the longest running independent comic books in history.

"For fans waiting to jump back into Spawn, this is the perfect time," said McFarlane. "Issue #250 marks the long anticipated return of the original Spawn, Al Simmons."

To celebrate the long-awaited digital release, comiXology is offering an exclusive bundling for a very limited time. Fans can pick up the whole collection for a discounted price through February 9th, 2015. Each includes exclusive content from issue #250 with behind-the-scenes material not available anywhere else in digital or print format. Check out the bundles below:

This is an awesome way to catch up on the series. I'm way behind on Spawn and this is really tempting. I remember watching the HBO series a lot and wishing there was at least one more season. I also just unearthed a bunch of Spawn action figures in some boxes from when I was a kid. What better time to jump back into this series, huh?
