Thirteen is proving to be a lucky number for Solar City's undead hero, Halloween Man as his thirteenth birthday is providing some great presents.  Creator Drew Edwards has signed a deal with Kerry Gammill's Monsterverse Entertainment that will allow the indie comic to reach its largest audience yet.  Monsterverse will be distributing the large back catalog through Comixology and other digital outlets as well as a new monthly Halloween Man digital comic.

I was unfamiliar with the character before this news came down, but he seems fun.  Halloween Man began over ten years ago as a web comic.  The first digital release from Monsterverse will include Halloween Man's crossover with Hack/Slash, followed by the graphic novel Superdeformed featuring art by Nicola Scott and David Baldeon.  After that, fans can expect a brand new story delving into the world of high fantasy entitled Cry Havoc.  There are also plans for a new one-shot print issue in 2014.

“We're excited to be a part of such an amazing line of horror-centric comics” says creator Edwards.
