Steve Niles has made quite a name for himself in the world of horror comics.  He's the co-creator of 30 Days of Night and Criminal Macabre and he's written a ton of other titles.  His next series will be coming from Dark Horse Comics entitled Breath of Bones: A Tale of the Golem.  Illustrated by Dave Watcher and co-written by Matt Santoro, the book centers on the golem, a monster made of mud from Jewish legend, summoned to kill Nazis during World War II to protect a small stronghold and an injured British pilot.

The promo image below calls Breath of Bones "Steve Niles' most heart-wrenching horror story since Freaks of the Heartland."  That's a tall order because Freaks was a tremendous comic and one that really pulled at the heartstrings.  If it's anything like that book, Breath of Bones will be pretty awesome.  You can check out the extensive preview below.
