101 Films has acquired the UK distribution rights to the independent horror film Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming.

The film is a UK based remake of the 1974 American slasher movie Silent Night, Bloody Night. Robert Graham of Independent Moving Pictures and Manish Patel executive produced. The script for Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming was written by James Plumb and Andrew Jones and tells the story of Butler House.

The deal was negotiated by North Bank Entertainment’s Andrew Jones and Steve Davey of 101 Films.

Producer Andrew Jones said: “We are delighted that 101 Films will be bringing SILENT NIGHT, BLOODY NIGHT: THE HOMECOMING to UK audiences. This film is the blood-soaked British lovechild of the American slasher and Italian giallo. It delivers creepy moments and inventive death scenes that fans of the classic low budget slasher films are sure to enjoy.”

James Plumb's other film, Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection was recently picked up by 4Digital Media for UK distribution.
