IFC Midnight announced that it is acquiring all US rights to Replicas, director Jeremy Power Regimbal's acclaimed thriller. The film stars Selma Blair (Hellboy), Joshua Close (The Pacific), James D'Arcy (W.E.), and Rachel Miner (Bully).  Foreign rights are held by Celluloid Nightmares.

Following a tragic incident, the Hughes family escapes their busy, upscale suburban life in order to spend some quality time at their isolated country home.  An evening with friendly neighbors is suddenly interrupted when one man’s obsession with perfection escalates into a violent struggle, forcing all to go beyond anything they ever thought they were capable of in order to survive.

Replicas is Regimbal's first feature and the script was written by Joshua Close, based on a story from Regimbal and producer Justin Tyler Closer.

Has anyone seen this? Thoughts? I can't even seem to find a trailer for it.

He's the puppet master. You don't see him, but he pulls the strings that gets things done. He's the silent partner. He's black ops. If you notice his presence, it's the last thing you'll notice — because now you're dead. He's the shadow you thought you saw in that dark alleyway. You can have a conversation with him, and when you turn around to offer him a cup of coffee, he's already gone.
