It's two weeks to Halloween. Yes, two weeks. As well as deciding how you're going to decorate the house and what you're going to wear, you're going to need something suitably spooky to watch over the horror fans' festive period. If, like me, you've neglected to keep up with the latest horror titles available via Amazon Prime, you can check out some of RJ's (sometimes left field) recommendations in his sporadic column The Top 10 Horror Movies on Amazon Prime for Free That I Would Watch Before I'd Watch Rob Zombie's Halloween parts one, two, three and four.
Or if you'd prefer something a little more mainstream, then check out the following list of goodies available to UK prime subscribers over the coming ghoulish holiday season. If you don't have a Prime subscription (if not, why not?) you can sign up for a free month here, which should see you through Halloween and beyond.

HOUSE OF WAX
Horror from director Robert Zemeckis. What begins as a weekend getaway for six friends becomes a terrifying fight for their lives. They wake up the next morning to find that their car might have been deliberately tampered with. At the risk of being stranded, they accept a local's invitation for a ride into Ambrose, the only town for miles. Once there, they are drawn to Ambrose's main attraction - Trudy's House of Wax, which is filled with remarkably life-like wax sculptures. But as they soon discover, there is a shocking reason the exhibits look so real. As the friends uncover the town's dark secrets, they are stalked by a mysterious killer and find themselves in a bloody battle for survival. The group must find a way out of Ambrose - or become permanent additions to the House Of Wax.

THE LAST EXORCISM
Reverend Cotton Marcus is a fourth generation evangelical minister, a well-known practitioner of exorcism, with many faithful believers in his work - Only he's not one of them.
People believe what they need to believe, and Cotton has helped many lost souls work out their "demons," but in the twilight of his career he decides it's time to put away the smoke and mirrors reveal the truth by allowing a film crew to capture the secrets of his trade in his final exorcism.
Cotton's last case takes him into the rural Louisiana, to the home of Louis Sweetzer, a simple farmer and a devout fundamentalist, convinced he has a demon on his hands. Strange things have been happening on Louis's farm. His livestock butchered during the night, their bloody carcasses left to rot. By morning, Louis's only daughter, Ashley, apparently a sweet innocent, provides the only clue to the killings: she wakes up covered in blood.
Reverend Marcus prepares for his final performance, the exorcism of Ashley Sweetzer. But to his horror, he soon discovers that he will need to conjure much more than a charade to put his last demon to rest...

When teenage friends Mari (Sara Paxton) and Paige (Martha MacIsaac) go into town in search of marijuana, they meet Justin (Spencer Treat Clark), an unusual young man who has what the girls are looking for back at his motel room. When Justin's father, sociopath and recent prison escapee Krug (Garret Dillahunt), turns up at the motel with his cronies, they kidnap the girls and subject them to a sustained and brutal assault before hiding out at a remote house - which, unbeknown to the gang, is the home of Mari's parents, John (Tony Goldwyn) and Emma (Monica Potter). The perpetrators then become the victims as Mari's parents devise an increasingly gruesome sequence of tortuous revenge tactics on the men who harmed their daughter.
Suburbanites Steve (Nelson) and Diane (Williams) suddenly experience paranormal activity in their home. What begins as minor excitement quickly turns into nasty ghostly encounters. James Wan directs this horror starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as real-life demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. When the Perron family experience strange goings-on at their farmhouse, they enlist the help of paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine.
