Coming out in late September for ZomBcon in Seattle, MonsterMatt's Bad Monster Jokes Vol. 1 is 160 pages of 400 plus jokes, puns, rhymes, song parodies and more.

Author Matt Patterson said, "I started writing these because I have a love of the old Famous Monsters magazines, Mad magazines, etc. I thought that the horror genre was losing its ability to poke fun at itself. There are so many wonderful films, characters and so on that you can do with and still have those subjects retain their dignity and impact."

He continued, "I found that there is an audience for this, having emceed Buffalo's Monster Fest July 30^th. There, I made people laugh, and audibly groan! Perfect! The plan is working!"

Written by MonsterMatt Patterson, illustrated by Kyle Kaczmarczyk and a forward by Joe Moe, MonsterMatt's Bad Monster Jokes Vol. 1 is published by May December Publications and will be available for a $12.95 MSRP from the usual retail outlets in October: Barnes&Noble, Borders, Amazonand more, with an e-reader version coming, too.
