In Los Angeles, a mysterious stranger (Arthur Roberts, Revenge of the Ninja) arrives in town and hires Nadine Story (Lords) as his private nurse. Although the pay is great, she becomes more and more suspicious of this mysterious stranger when his requests for blood transfusions become more frequent and insistent. After some amateur detective work, Nadine finds out that her new boss is not who -- or what — he appears to be. In fact, he's from another world!
Not of This Earth was a remake of executive producer Corman's 1957 sci-fi horror classic, which he had himself produced and directed. Eager to capitalize on the thrills and chills of the original story while adding a fresh, more contemporary layer of black comedy and camp humor, Corman tapped producer/director Wynorski to take on the project. Not only did Wynorski accept the challenge of remaking one of his mentor's most popular early films, but he vowed his could do it in less time than Corman had, 31 years before! According to Hollywood legend, the original film took Corman 12 days to make, and the remake took Wynorski 12 days to make!
The film marked Traci Lords' transition from adult film roles to mainstream roles. Not only did she contribute a generous dose of beauty and sex appeal, as well as a dollop of box-office-friendly controversy, but the actress proved the naysayers wrong by impressing critics and audiences alike with a witty, sassy performance as the quick-thinking heroine, Nadine Story.

In the future, fear is dominant — whether on Earth or in deep space, as is proven in truly horrific fashion by the double-feature collector's edition DVD release of The Terror Within and Dead Space.
The Terror Within features an intense ensemble cast headed by George Kennedy (Cool Hand Luke), Andrew Stevens (The Fury), Terri Treas (The Nest) and Starr Andreeff (Dance of the Damned).
Marc Singer (The Beastmaster) and Bryan Cranston (TV's Breaking Bad) find themselves in deep space — and deep trouble — in the sci-fi chiller Dead Space, a loose remake of Corman's Forbidden World.
For years, Phaebon had been thought to be a safe and controlled scientific research facility until an emergency distress signals calls for Commander Kreiger (Singer) and his robot sidekick, Tinpan. Together, they fight to save the planet from a spreading virus and an odd, growing alien cocoon. Despite Kreiger's heroism, is it too late to save the menace from possibly engulfing the galaxy?
