Death Note Collection ($39.98 MSRP): It’s a battle of wits. Law student Light is upset with the justice system and when he finds the Death Note dropped by a death god, he vows to rid the world of evil. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies. As criminals all over the world begin to mysteriously die, a world-renowned detective known only as ‘L’ is put on the case to stop this serial killer that the public calls ‘Kira’. The battle between Light and L continues in Death Note II: The Last Name as Light joins the investigation team. L suspects Light of being Kira while Light attempts to learn L’s real name. Time becomes even more crucial with the appearance of a second Kira. Whose name will be the last written in the Death Note?

The Long Good Friday ($17.98 MSRP): Entrepreneurial mob boss Harold Shand (Academy Award-nominee Bob Hoskins, Mona Lisa) runs an underworld empire but his dreams are much bigger. He and his sophisticated wife (Oscar-winner Helen Mirren, The Queen) aspire to partner with American mobsters to turn the barren docklands of London into a development for the upcoming Olympics. But their perfect plan begins to unravel when a string of deadly bombings leads Shand to the stunning realization that he is being targeted by the IRA. A bloody race to hold on to his crumbling schemes brings him to an explosive climax in this taut, riveting thriller.

Machine Gun McCain ($29.98 MSRP): After serving 12 years behind bars for armed robbery, tough guy Hank McCain finds himself the pawn of a ruthless mob runt's rebellion against a high level don. When McCain discovers that he's been betrayed and abandoned by his new employer, he retaliates with a high stakes Las Vegas casino heist that erupts into all-out war on the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Not blood, nor lust, nor wedding vows can come between McCain and his money...or his machine gun.

Machine Gun McCain is also available on standard DVD.

Survival of the Dead: Ultimate Undead Edition ($29.98 MSRP): The newest film from horror master George A. Romero (legendary creator of the Night of the Living Dead franchise) picks up where Diary of the Dead leaves off. On a small island off the coast of Delaware, live two families locked in a struggle for power and control over the fate of the undead. The O'Flynns approach the zombie plague with a shoot-to-kill attitude. The Muldoons feel that the zombies should be quarantined and kept "alive," in hopes that a solution will be discovered. For both families, existence on Plum Island is a nightmarish world where humans are the minority and zombies rule.

Survival of the Dead is also available on standard DVD as a two-disc Ultimate Undead Edition and a single disc edition.

Time Bandits ($17.98 MSRP): Young Kevins daydreams burst into astonishing and hilarious life when a band of time-traveling little men come crashing through his bedroom wardrobe and carry him off on an unbelievable crime spree, weaving through the greatest and strangest moments of history. The pint-sized plunderers filch from a neurotic Napoleon (Ian Holm), a dim-witted Robin Hood (John Cleese) and a heroic King Agamemnon (Sean Connery), leading to a showdown with the dark forces of Evil (David Warner)...all while keeping just one precarious step ahead of the wrath of The Supreme Being himself! Producer/Director/Co-writer Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Brazil) teams with many of his comic-genius cohorts from Monty Python to bring this laugh-out-loud modern fairy tale-adventure to life.

New on DVD:

Assignment: Outer Space (w/ XL T-shirt) ($19.95 MSRP): This DVDTee includes both a DVD of the 1961 cult classic, Assignment: Outer Space, and a tee shirt featuring the original poster art. In this sci-fi favorite, a reporter for the Interplanetary News finds himself aboard a distant space station, with a sexy space temptress, having to act fast to save a rogue spaceship that threatens to destroy the Earth! This was the directorial debut for prolific Italian filmmaker Antonio Margheriti (often credited via his pseudonym Anthony M. Dawson). A legend in the world of cult movies for his numerous sci-fi, horror and spaghetti western films, he is said to have influenced everyone from Stanley Kubrick to Quentin Tarantino. Indeed, the latter even paid tribute to Margheriti in his 2009 film Inglorious Basterds, wherein Eli Roth s character adopts his name!

Assignment: Outer Space is also available with a large t-shirt.

Devil's Diary ($14.95 MSRP): In the hands of high school kids, even an innocent diary can cause trouble. But when a group of small-town teenagers finds the “Devil's Diary,” a book that embodies the evil of Satan by physically manifesting any evil thought that is written in it, all hell breaks loose. Unearthed after centuries of concealment, the Devil's Diary wreaks havoc and destruction on the high school students who found it, and their entire community. Can their town be saved from complete ruin?

DIEner (get it?) ($24.98 MSRP): A couple of zombies open up a diner. Hilarity ensues.

The Gathering ($19.95 MSRP): Surgeon Michael Foster (Peter Gallagher) seems to have it all: a great job, a beautiful wife, Ann (Kristin Lehman) and a daughter, Zee (Jenna Boyd), going through the normal stages of teenage rebellion. But when Michael's beloved wife disappears from their locked home, his world collapses. As Michael attempts to uncover the mystery of Ann's disappearance, he befriends one of Zee's teachers, who reveals to him that Ann may have been involved with an ancient and potentially violent sect of witches determined to dominate the modern world. Something scary is happening, and Michael soon realizes there is no one to trust but himself. Before he knows it, he's mixed up in a case involving black magic and murder. Can he save himself and his daughter before it's too late?

I couldn't find a movie trailer for this, so here's The Gathering singing "Leaves".

Ghost Hunters International: Season 1 Part 2 ($24.98 MSRP): This spin-off of the popular Ghost Hunters series features a new team of all-real paranormal investigators — Robb Demarest, Dustin Pari, Barry FitzGerald, and Brandy Green — who use scientific techniques to explore the worlds most famous supernatural locations. Follow the team, if you dare, into the Romanian castle of a countess said to have murdered and bathed in the blood of her victims; then deep underground into the labyrinths beneath the streets of Paris; even inside the infamous castle of Vlad the Impaler, inspiration for Dracula; and many more hair-raising, ghostly adventures worldwide.

I couldn't find a teaser, opening or trailer for Ghost Hunters International. So instead enjoy the sweet sounds of The Righteous Brothers as they sing "Unchained Melody".

The Haunting of Sorority Row ($14.95 MSRP): Samantha Willows (Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl) is a bright-eyed college freshman ready to endure the often humiliating traditions of pledge week if it means being accepted into Delta Phi Theta, one of the most prestigious sororities in the country. But her enthusiasm turns to dread when she begins to sense something sinister about the sorority house and some of its sisters, who appear to be sharing a closely guarded secret. After the death of a Delta Phi Theta member, Samantha considers the unimaginable could an evil, murderous force reside within the walls of the sorority house?

The House That Jack Built ($19.98 MSRP): A dying, powerful father asks his only son to preserve the family estate and never tear it down. Time loosens his promise, and Jack demolishes the estate to build a "party palace". On opening night, Jack and company are in for a rude awakening. A "monstrous spirit" has returned with murderous intents on those who have knocked the house.

Hush Little Baby ($14.95 MSRP): Jamie Ashford (Victoria Pratt) suffered a devastating loss when her first child drowned. Now just a year after her daughter?s death and despite taking precautions Jamie is surprised to find out she?s carrying another child. After a difficult pregnancy and birth Jamie begins to suspect that her newborn Caitlin is not the sweet baby she appears to be. A series of suspicious accidents convinces Jamie that Caitlin may be evil. Has Caitlin been taken over by a vengeful spirit or is Jamie?s guilt over her first daughter?s death ? and the grief she has yet to deal with ? affecting her sanity? When the truth is revealed it seems Jamie was right all along.

No trailer love for Hush Little Baby. There is, however, some Kula Shaker love.

King of the Zombies (w/ XL T-shirt) ($19.95 MSRP): This DVDTee includes both a DVD of the 1941 film, King of the Zombies, and a tee shirt featuring the original poster art. In this hugely entertaining zombie chiller-meets-spy thriller, an American admiral goes missing in the Caribbean shortly before World War II. When special agent Mac McCarthy (Dick Purcell) is dispatched to rescue him, accompanied by his quick-witted manservant (comic scene-stealer Mantan Moreland) and a military pilot, they soon find themselves stranded on an island of voodoo-practicing zombies and a strange German doctor! This B-movie gem followed on the heels of another horror-comedy , The Ghost Breakers (starring Bob Hope), which had been a big hit the year before.

King of the Zombies is also available with a large t-shirt.
