Grindhouse Returns in Drive In, Bleed Out
You can't keep good sleaze down. After a stellar eight issue run, Alex de Campi's Grindhouse: Doors Open at Midnight came to a close. We saw Bee Vixens, a prison spaceship, a medieval version of Kill Bill, and more. Now the comic that your mother warned you about is set to return with four all new stories in Grindhouse: Drive In, Bleed Out, beginning in November from Dark Horse Comics.
As with the original series, de Campi will be writing each issue. There will be four stories, each taking up two issues for a grand total of eight. The first tale is “Slay Ride” featuring art and covers by R.M. Guéra. Future arcs include the sexy espionage story “Lady Danger: International Agent of B.O.O.T.I." with art from Afua Richardson, a sequel to the very first Grindhouse comic “Bee Vixens from Mars” entitled “Blood Lagoon” with art by Chris Peterson, and a “Barbarella-style space-bound sex fest” by the name of “Nebulina” featuring artwork from Ulises Farinas. The comic will also sport alternating covers by Francesco Francavilla.
The first issue of Grindhouse: Drive In, Bleed Out will debut on November 12th, 2014. You know you want it.
