Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced a special treat for those of you pre-ordering the upcoming survival horror game Dying Light. By reserving your copy, you'll unlock the special “Be the Zombie” section of the PvP mode, allowing you to stalk other players as the night hunter, a lethal predator with superhuman speed, a grappling tendril, and special attacks. This is a fast and agile enemy that only comes out at night to defend the Hive from humans. Playing as a night hunter will provide gamers with experience points and the opportunity to develop the character through its own unique skill tree, along with other exclusive rewards.
Dying Light is a first-person, action survival horror video game with a day-night cycle. The game is currently under development by Techland and will be available in 2014 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Events change based on the time of day you're playing. When the sun is up, players can explore a vast urban environment that has been overrun by a vicious outbreak. The goal is to look for supplies and create weapons to defend against the growing numbers of infected. Then, when the sun goes down, the infected become more aggressive and more dangerous. New predators appear at night, providing a different challenge.
Fans attending PAX this weekend will have the opportunity to try out Dying Light live and in person.
