It's a bit usual for a movie or novel to put everything out on front street. That's the case with John Dies at the End, the upcoming film from director Don Coscarelli (Phantasm, Bubba Ho-Tep). The folks over at Magnet Releasing have just released this official poster for the film.
Based on the novel by David Wong, John Dies at the End centers around Soy Sauce. Not the stuff you put on your Chinese Food, but rather a drug that promises out-of-body experiences with each hit. Users travel across time and dimensions, but some who return are no longer human. A quiet otherworldly invasion is suddenly underway and humanity needs a hero. Instead, they'll have to settle for John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a couple of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can they stop this invasion and save mankind? Probably not.
In addition to Rob Mayes and Chase Williamson, the film stars Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman, and Paul Giamatti. John Dies at the End will be available through Magnet On-Demand on December 27th, 2012 and in theaters on February 3rd, 2013.
