Apparently not satisfied with just a one-, two-, or even three-disc release Father's Day, Troma Entertainment announced that hey will dropping a limited edtion Blu-ray of the film (just in time for Father's Day, no less) that is now a four-disc set! In addition to the Blu-ray version of Father's Day, the set will have a standard definition DVD version of the film, a DVD of extra features and a CD containing songs from the movie, including "The Hunter" and "We Are the Universe" from musician Smoke Miles.
Father's Day (from the minds of Astron-6) is slated for release on June 12th. Now if only a Mother's Day release would follow...
Synopsis:
The gritty, gruesome, VHS throwback Father's Day follows that classic story we all grew up with: boy watches father raped and murdered, boy grows into a vengeful one-eyed man, man teams up with a priest and a male prostitute to take down his father's killer.
And, honestly, how gorgeous is that cover?
