Grimm Up North is kicking off a new monthly tradition of double features this Thursday (January 26th) with an epic screening of some Italian cult classics.
If you are in the Manchester area this Thursday then there is only one place to be, get a seat at the Dancehouse Theatre and settle down to watch Dario Argento’s lost masterpiece Four Flies on Grey Velvet and Michele Soavi’s Dellamorte Dellamore, The Cemetery Man (both to be released soon in remastered collector's editions from Shameless Home Entertainment). Hey, even if you’re not in the Manchester area it’s a great reason to get yourself over there surely?
This is the start of something pretty damn exciting from the Grimm Up North guys, each month they will screen a double feature of horror and if this is how they are starting it, we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.
The screening will take place at The Dancehouse Theatre on Oxford Road, doors open at 7.10pm and the first film will start at 7.40pm. If you would like to book tickets you can visit the Grimm Up North Page here: http://grimmfest.com/grimmupnorth/category/monthly-screenings/
