Lucky McKee's The Woman hits the shelves on Blu-ray and DVD today, and there's been a lot of controversy about the film on the web. Even here at HorrorTalk there is a difference of opinion. Charlotte had the movie on her top 10 of 2011 and Joel was right there with her as he placed it on his top 10 as well.
On the other hand, when Dan saw it at Frightfest 2011, he didn't enjoy it, saying all he witnessed "...was an exercise in shoe-horning as many controversial issues into one film as possible."
Say this, though, love it or hate it, The Woman is drawing quite the reaction from seemingly everyone who's seen it.
I've been a fan of Lucky McKee and Angela Bettis since I first saw May and I'm eager to check this out so I can make my own decision on the film. Either way, judging by the hype surrounding the movie, I better prepare myself for strong feelings about it one way or another.
