In a world of demon worshiping mafioso, a mysterious hitman named Trypp must avenge the death of a friend, while he succumbs to his inner darkness.
Frank Forte, publisher of Asylum Press, announced that Asylum Press has joined with Conquest Studios and 803 Studios to publish Trenchcoats, Cigarettes & Shotguns, an original graphic novel written by Chuck Brown and illustrated by Philipp Nuendorf.
Trenchcoats, Cigarettes & Shotguns is set in a world filled with mech wielding gangsters, demonic mafioso and otherworldly creatures that run wild on earth, a mysterious hitman named Trypp only relies on three things: his trenchcoat, his cigarettes and his shotguns. A new kind of crime family begins to emerge in New York City, one that uses ancient satanic rituals to gain the speed, strength and other attributes of demons from Hell. When the mob murders a friend of Trypp's, he begins to leave a path of death, destruction and blood to avenge her. But he also begins to embrace the darkness within his soul.
This book sounds like a supernatural version of Hobo With a Shotgun, which is great. You know what you're getting into with this comic. Look for Trenchcoats, Cigarettes & Shotguns in comic shops this June.
