New on Blu-ray:
Clash Of The Titans (£17.99 RRP): Full of pride, Cassiopeia compares her daughter's beauty to that of Hera. Angered, the queen of the gods has Poseidon unleash the monstrous beast Craken to destroy their village unless Cassiopeia's daughter, Andromeda, is sacrificed. Perseus, the son of Zeus, becomes enchanted with the breathtaking beauty and is determined to save her from this fate. The young hero, armed with a magical shield, a winged stallion and a mechanical owl, discovers the only way to defeat the monster is with the head of Medusa. The gods watch and intervene on Perseus' quest to save his beloved. This was legendary special effects wizard Ray Harryhausen's last film before he retired from creating movie magic. L.A. Law's Harry Hamlin stars as the Greek mythological hero Perseus who fights snake-haired Medusa and two-headed dogs to save the lovely Andromeda (Judi Bowker). Laurence Olivier, as Zeus, is one of the many screen legends in this adventure. Burgess Meredith, Claire Bloom, Maggie Smith and Ursula Andress round out the cast as the Gods of Mount Olympus. Director Desmond Davis was camera operator on Tom Jones and A Taste of Honey, two influential early 1960s British films. Writer Beverly Cross was one of the writers on 1963's Ray Harryhausen film, Jason and the Argonauts.

The House Of The Devil (£19.99 RRP): A coed struggling to pay her rent ends up taking the wrong part-time job in writer-director Ti West's old-school 1980s-set horror flick, The House of the Devil. Samantha (Jocelin Donahue) is a sweet-natured and retiring young woman, unlike her rambunctious, loud, and self-assured best buddy, Megan (mumblecore stalwart Greta Gerwig). After moving into a new apartment, Samantha is desperate for a way to make a few more bucks. When Mr. Ulman (Tom Noonan) comes on campus looking for a babysitter, Samantha jumps at the opportunity. Once she convinces Megan to give her a ride to the creepy old Ulman house, Samantha learns that the job is not quite what was advertised. Ulman and his wife (Mary Woronov) don't even have a child. He tells Samantha that she just has to stay in the house with his elderly mother-in-law while he and the missus go out to celebrate the lunar eclipse. When she balks at the change of plans, he offers her more money. As the night goes on, it becomes clear that Samantha is a much bigger part of the Ulmans' plans for the evening than she would ever want to be.
The House of the Devil is also available on standard DVD.

Survival Of The Dead (£19.99 RRP): A group of rogue soldiers seek shelter from the zombie apocalypse on scenic Plum Island, only to become caught up in a bitter feud between two warring families. Crocket (Alan Van Sprang) and his motley crew of military abandoners are searching for a safe place to rest when they cross paths with Patrick O'Flynn (Kenneth Welsh). O'Flynn has been banished from Plum Island, where his family is locked in a long-time quarrel with the Muldoons. The O'Flynns see the flesh-eaters as subhuman, never hesitating to put a bullet between their eyes; the Muldoons balk at the prospect of killing their gut-munching loved ones, instead opting to care for their rotting kinfolk until scientists find a cure for the undead scourge. As the division between the two families grows deeper and wider, Crocket and his men realize that on Plum Island, the zombies are the least of their worries.
Survival Of The Dead is also available on standard DVD.

Zombieland (£24.99 RRP): A cowardly shut-in named Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is forced to join up with a seasoned zombie slayer named Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) in order to survive the zombie apocalypse. As Tallahassee sets out on a mission to find the last Twinkie on Earth, the duo meets up with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), two young girls who have resorted to some rather unorthodox methods to survive amidst the chaos. Reluctant partners in the battle against the undead, all four soon begin to wonder if it might be better to simply take their chances alone. But even in a world ruled by blood-thirsty, arm-tearing, stiff-walking creatures there is room for real emotions such as friendship or love. As they carry on in their battle against evil, both Whichita and Columbus realise that something stronger than survival instinct drives them towards each other.

Paranormal Entity (£9.99 RRP): Twenty-three year old, Thomas Finley was arrested for the murder of his nineteen-year old sister, Samantha, as well as the murder of fifty-two year old, Edgar Lauren, a Professor and paranormal investigator. In the early morning hours, Police were called to the scene by Thomas Finley himself. He was found inside with his sister’s body cradled in his arms. After questioning, Thomas was taken into custody. In his police statement, Thomas claimed that the victims were attacked by a demonic entity of unknown origin. Days later, he committed suicide.
It is the opinion of those closely related to the family, that this video found at the scene be shown to the public as a final testament to what actually happened inside the Finley home in those final days.

Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (£15.99 RRP): Two teenage girls are in love with the same boy in this horror comedy based on a manga by Shungiku Uchida. Monami (Yukie Kawamura) is a pretty new girl at school who quickly develops a furious crush on Mizushima (Takumi Saito), a handsome boy with charisma as impressive as his hair. Mizushima already has a steady girl, Kieko (Eri Otoguro), much to Monami's chagrin, but that doesn't stop her from giving the boy of her dreams a box of special chocolates for Valentine's Day. What Mizushima doesn't know is just how special those chocolates are --Monami is a vampire, and the chocolates are filled with blood, which sends him into a psychedelic state and turns him into a fellow creature of the night. Monami asks the newly-undead Mizushima to be her soul mate, but this doesn't sit well with Kieko, and when a fight between the two rivals leaves Kieko dead, that's not enough to stop her. Kieko's father is a scientist doing bizarre experiments in reanimation, and he resurrects his daughter using some spare body parts, turning her into a powerful warrior who goes toe to toe against the vampire who stole her man. Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (aka Kyuketsu Shojo Tai Shojo Furanken) was directed by Yoshihiro Nishimura (the special effects artist behind the cult favorite Tokyo Gore Police) in collaboration with Naoyuki Tomomatsu.

Zombieland and The House of the Devil should be no-brainers and Survival of the Dead is Romero, but tell me you aren't the least bit interested in Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl. Hell, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't.
