Co-Op zombie killing fps from the makers of Half-Life and Portal. You guys sure remember the old thread, so I won't post any more basics. This thread only serves one goal: To build up anticipation for one of the hottest titles this year. I'd even dare to call it the official Horrortalk game. So if you cheapskates get your paws on one of those beat up used copies in few months, we'll be able to annihilate zombie horde after zombie horde for great justice and ponies.

The warranty for my XBox was running out on October the 28th, so I decided to send it in to get those extra cooling elements and a new DVD drive. I really hope they get it done in time for me to murder some zombies on day one.

How do I know if I need to do this?

My 360 is a first generation model without the hdmi port etc. I had no real RROD, but sometimes the drive would act up, and produce reading errors, even though the disc was neither damaged nor dirty. So I figured it's best to send it in, to get the drive replaced and those extra cooling elements installed. You can log into your account on xbox.com, and enter your console's serial number to see for how long your 360 is still under warranty. If you've got the newer model with hdmi I wouldn't bother to send it in as long as it works 100% correct. If you've got the old one I would send it in towards the end of the warranty, to get those extra cooling elements installed just in case.

Btw Joe I saw you have Mercenaries 2 for the 360. There is an update coming that removes region locked online play. I plan to pick the game up then. So are you up for some Co-Op mayhem?
