Saw this recently and completely agree with your assessment, Deej.

I wasn't a fan of Green's Hatchet, but he did some real solid work here.

Pretty impressive all around. :up:

Agreed. This is a fantastic movie, one of my favorites from last year. The "Don't you let her look!" scene was so horrifying. The idea of a friend or loved one in that situation is just grueling to me. And this is coming from someone who absolutely hated Hatchet.

While I enjoyed it for the most part, the bullshit with the crazed pack of wolves so close to a fucking ski resort and the fact that the entire place would shut down from Sunday night until the following Friday was awfully contrived.

I went ahead and merged these together.

I can almost agree about the wolves, but if the wolves might have been hungry and if it's a rough winter, they will naturally come closer to the resort for food.
