What did you just watch (non-horror)?
Re: What did you just watch (non-horror)?
In theaters:
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Great movie with one hell of a gutsy ending. I'd really like to get a copy of the book.
At home:
King Kong (2005). Another great movie. I'm starting to like it more than the original, and that's really saying something from me.

Wow. You're the first person I've heard say that. I liked it; though, it was a but too long. And the end got a little sappy for my taste. But the stuff on the island was cool.

Yeah, seen the new one. Nope, not any good. I mean it's entertaining enough but it's not any good.

Mamma Mia.
OK, it's cheesy, but I liked it. The Broadway musical was better, though - draws the audience in more to the general cheerful pop-cheese feeling.
Now I must watch action and horror movies to restore my testosterone levels.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this, but I think I have to wait for DVD. Our theater didn't even show "Doubt" and I wanted to see that, too.

Bummer. But I'll probably check it out anyway.

I didn't look to see Milos gush about the true goodness of this film, but it is easily the best thing Van Damme has done in ten years.
I enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah, well...
In other news, I got "The Cell" from Netflix. Visually striking, plot-wise kind of pedestrian.

I watched "Thirteen". Fairly good movie. Not fantastic, but okay. Being a teenager sure has changed since the past 14 years since I was that age.
