Really interesting movie, but hard to watch at times. It had some of the most interesting editing choices I've seen in a movie lately. Some scenes would use a single take (there's a whopping 16-minute conversation in the film, and the camera doesn't move an inch), while other moments would quickly alternate between two things happening at once. Very intriguing.

Anne Hathaway was good, but the movie wasn't.
She's Out of His League
Surprisingly good. The scene in the bowling alley was hilarious.

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li
Do you remember that other Street Fighter movie? The one with with Van Damme?
It's Oscar material when compared to this turd. I can't fathom how something like this can get greenlighted. Awful.

Fun, but shallow, and it leaves a somewhat bitter aftertaste of "let's make the next book series to film series cash cow". Uma Thurmann was awesome as the Medusa.

Angelina Jolie, and not much else.
Feels more like the pilot of a spy tv series, than a movie.

BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS
Had blast. I can't stand Cage most of the time, but he is awesome in this.
PRINCE OF PERSIA
Fun popcorn movie. The banter between the prince and princess, while not as good as dialogs in the 2008 Prince of Persia video game, is good fun and the glue between the different set pieces.

Death Machines
I've had this on vhs for years but never watched it. This movie was hilarious and was full of bad stunts. The scene at the beginning where all the "death machines" are showing off their skills and one of them is confronted by a ninja who breaks out his demonstration of moves for a good minute and a half was classic. The guy he's challenging just pulls out a pistol and shoots him (I thought he was supposed to be a karate master...). And that was probably the best scene in the movie. This trailer should give you an example on how awesome it is. Listen to the guys monotone voice, too.

Not bad, but not nearly as good as the first two.

Proof that there's life in the old dog yet. Bruce Willis teams up with a bunch of retired CIA operatives who have been marked for elimination. Lots of tongue-in-cheek action and a decent cast across the board made this an entertaining 90 minutes.
