Not sure what I am reading next, but a friend of mine recommended some urban fantasy book. So I might gay it up a bit and check that out.

Pretty good so far. I'm about 140 pages in.

My only major thought thus far: Fred Gwynne was fucking perfect as Jud for the movie.

Crab's Moon by Guy N. Smith.

You'd think it was a sequel to Night of the Crabs, but it's not. It's the exact same book, but with different characters. Other writers (hacks) would've just put it all into one book. But not Mr. Smith, he went the smart way and got at least 2 books out of one.

I love that when something happens that would effect the first book, he writes that someone forgot to tell the doctor. Also, that even though the camp's been attacked like 1000 times, nobody will evacuate it.

Finished Pet Sematary. Didn't love it, but didn't hate it, either. I think my main problem with it was the overwriting, something I only seem to notice in King's shorter novels...still trying to figure that one out.

I'm reading Stephen King's The Dome or whatever it's called. It's an ebook, so I don't see the cover.

So far, I'm thinking he ripped off the Simpson's movie.

I am about 3/4s through Joe Hill's Horns. It's not bad. It's not as good as Heart Shaped Box, but it's fairly solid for what it is. His writing falters here and there IMO, but nothing overly annoying.

I'm currently reading Fangboy by Jeff Strand for future review.

I recommend this to Ron, Spez, Sham and Shiki.

Shiki and Ron, though, get a special recommendation for this particular exchange.

(A quick back story, the character, Nathan, had just been shot, escaped from a guy chasing him, and woke up in a strange house).

"Where am I?" Nathan asked.

The man smiled and took a long puff from his pipe.

"You are in my home. You have been shot."

"I remember that happening."

"What is your name?"

"Nathan."

"Pleased to meet you, Nathan. My name is James. I am your magical negro."

"You're my what?"

"Your magical negro. I am here to solve the problems of white folks. And you, white boy, have problems."
