Can't remember the name of a film.

I have a vague memory of a film I watched with my mom some years ago (2002ish, I think? The film might be older, or it was just very low-budget). It was a drama.

I don't recall much of the plot, but it had a bunch of young adults (students) who were captured by a teacher, stripped of their clothes, and put in cages that would trigger an electric shock whenever they got an answer wrong or misbehaved. I distinctly remember one scene where a character leaps into the air when he thinks he's about to get shocked for something.

That's all I've got. Any ideas?
