I watched it on regular DVD tonight, and it didn't look dark to me. I wonder if there's a difference between the DVD and BR?

The New York Ripper (blu-ray)
The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue (blu-ray)
The Shining (blu-ray)

I thought Diary was ok-ish; Kinda scared to watch this one, because of all the CGI that supposedly is used.
