You should try and find the real Kingdom miniseries. Way better.

I wish I had damnnationdoormat's money, some of those old VHS boxes bring back memories. Some of those and seen but can't find, and those I wonder why I haven't seen them.

I got the first one from SwapADVD. The 2 / 3 Double Feature was $5 and the other one was $7.50. Any suggestions on where to pick up the rest of the movies cheap?

I hit the local Hollywood Video closing sale. They still had a lot of flicks, but not a lot of decent ones. I got:
Cemetery Gates (only because I promised Bannister I'd buy it, but never did)
Dead Hate the Living (because it was a zombie movie that sucks, and so I had to have it. One of the last Full Moon's, if I remember correctly).
And...
Lars Von Trier's original Kingdom Hospital double disc set, US edition. Never watched as far as I can tell from the discs.
All that for $9.99.

I haven't watched it. But Reggie Bannister himself told me it was going to be 'a real shitkicker of a movie.' He may or may not have been drunk at the time, and I don't think he'd even started filming then.

The Crazies on BLU, love the movie but it is a shitty transfer. When I saw this in the theater I dont tremember it being as dark as it is on BLU. bummer.

That is a bummer.
The ads I've seen on TV make it look dark though.

Oddly enough I think it gets a little better as it moves along. Seems as though the movie has four "chapters" and the third and last one look pretty good.
