I watched Let Me In on blu the other night.
Not as good as the original, but still a solid film if you look past the OMG IT'S THE 80s - 80's references. The CGI was a little too rubbery as well which annoyed me.

Dark Water (Jap.) = Fell asleep three or four times.
Dark Water (Remake) = Watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
LAND OF THE MINOTAUR
Donald Pleasence as a priest, Peter Cushing as a Minotaur=Devil worshipping count and a whole village full of Greek peasants played by Greek actors who can't act. I got this flick in box of eight movies which I originally bought for the included THE HEARSE and THEY SAVED HITLER'S BRAIN. I knew nothing about it before popping it in the player. When the title cards where displayed I was wondering why I haven't heard about it in the past. After the credits rolled I understood. 85 minutes of pure boredom. It isn't even so bad that it's good, it is just bad.
THE CREEPING TERROR
An alien monster, which the imdb fittingly calls a "pile of carpets", wreaks havoc on a small rural town. The bad effects are amusing, but the real highlight is the clear cut right and wrong moral the film propagates:
Science, Intellectualism, premarital sex, frivolous dancing = Bad.
Military, Police, America, Guns, Shooting foreign things = Fuck yeah!
Old school drive-in schlock. I liked it.

Just finished The Exorcist (theatrical) on blu. Damn nice looking picture. The very last scene was the only scene that looked bad. In the background where Regan's window was it was all pixelated and blown out, but otherwise it looked really good.

Gojira / Godzilla '54
The Japanese version somehow feels a lot more serious and dignified than the usual giant monster movie. It sure is goofy when it comes to the creature effects, nevertheless manages to create some menacing scenes which draw a lot of power from the stark black/white imagery and powerful sound design. A true classic.
The US version with added scenes featuring Raymond Burr is a lot less powerful and a lot more goofy, mainly because of the clumsily inserted new scenes with "Perry Maison". The inserted scenes however are far less annoying than the heavily used voice over of Ramond Burr's reporter character. Still one of the better hack jobs, heads and shoulders above The Mad Men Madeiras/They saved Hitler's Brain and the like. A true guilty pleasure.

Mad Men/Hitler's Brain is a price example for a heavily edited and re-shot film; So it is only fitting to mention it in context with Gojira/Godzilla. I'm starting to suspect that you have some unhealthy fixation on Hitler. You see him everywhere and in everything. Where I to post a picture of myself you probably would tell me I look like him or something.
