Man, I haven't seen this one in a long time. Shame, considering it's one of my favorites. That doll still scares me.

Nightmare on Elm Street(2010) 1 out of 10
Night of the Demons(1988) 5.5 out of 10, but had I seen it in '88 I probably would have gone like 7 out of 10.

I didn't think it was that bad. It's just not any good, either.

I didn't think it was that bad. It was interesting in a lot of ways, and kind of ho hum in a lot of others. Definitely worth a watch if you don't have high hopes.

Well, let's see how bad it was:
1) Should have been called Midget Freddy Attacks(Freddy Was Not Scary At All)
2) Movie was not scary at all
3) Added nothing new whatsoever except for a little fake "Maybe Krueger WASN'T a bad guy", which was really rather stupid
4) Took some interesting, creative effects from the original and turned them into REALLY bad CGI
5) Could these kids have seemed any LESS interesting? (no)
There ya go.

Glad to see this has turned into What Horror movie Did Kangas Just Watch as opposed to its actual title:
Lost Boys: The Thirst(5 out of 10) - You know, this is nowhere near the abomination that the second movie was. I'm not saying it's good, but it wasn't the terrible.
Piranha(1978)(7 out of 10) - Haven't seen this since somewhere around 1980. I remember really liking it, and it's still pretty good. Kevin McCarthy still does You-Don't-Know-What-I-Know-And-You-Should-Be-Afraid better than anybody, and Keenan Wynn is always good. Totally didn't remember the claymation creature in the lab at the beginning. That was kinda cool.
Monsters(6 out of 10) - You know, I wanted to like this movie a lot. And it has some real cool moments to it. But man, does it drag on and when they tell you this is a romance with monsters in it, believe them. It's too much romance, not enough monsters. But for the low budget it's done incredibly well. If I saw this with no expectations I probably would have liked it more.

Or, alternatively, people are just editing their posts instead of making a new one each time.

That would be gay.
And this is not the internet. THIS is the internet, and I'm very good at that.
