Friday the 13th REMAKE

Character development........hell no.
Plot holes.........Hell yes.
Shoddy story.........Hell yes.

BIG FUN........OH HELL YEAH!!!

Sorry guys, but I really liked this one. As good as the Chainsaw remake?? NOPE!! But still more fun then what i thought it would be.

I was surprised on how much I liked this. The flaws you mention are certainly there, but man it's fun.

And I like the new Jason. He's more intimidating than previous incarnations.

Co-signed all around. They give you everything you could want (except the camp; the Crystal Lake camp, not the camp like Ed Wood camp).

I also agree with AR that this is the best Jason, I like the fact that he can run instead of doing a fast walk and still end up catching the people that are running thier asses off. :lol:

Yeah, and it actually makes some sense because (not-really-a-spoiler) he's not a zombie like in F13 parts VI and beyond...

I rented this for a friend and watched it once with her, then once more with my sister. It just gets worse for me the more I see it.

Same here. I've heard a lot of people bitching and moaning about how Jason runs in this one but I like it. To me, gigantic freaky killer that runs is scarier than gigantic freaky killer that can only walk. But IDK, maybe that's just me.

I thought it was ok, too. Liked it much more than the Last House remake because it was, at least, fun. Kind of felt in the spirit of the original.

I really dug this and thought it was way better than the originals.

Although if you watch it without knowing anything about the previous Friday the 13th movies, the first third of the film is about a guy that kills co-eds for trying to steal his weed.
