This peeked my interest so I did some research and found their main website on Google. Saw they had a Horror title called "Surburbians" so I picked it up. I enjoy new things and wanted to see what it was all about. Honestly, I was impressed over all. Writing was good, the abstract art was beautiful. Gonna keep an eye on their site and see whats up.
Hi, welcome to the forum. What comic con were you at? I'm surprised that you never heard of an emotobook before. Not because they're famous, or you should've heard of them or anything, but judging that your IP address comes out of PA very near to Grit City Publication's IP address, which apparently is who publishes emotobooks.
Maybe you really did hear about them at a comic con and had never heard of them before, I don't know. But, say you were a shill for Grit City (or someone else) you'll get a lot more mileage if you came on here, said who you were, what your product was and what was awesome about it. Trust me, we'd probably ask questions. Someone would probably ask for a couple to review, and our reviews get read a lot. You'd probably end up selling more.
I don't know anyone at GCP, but I was at the Pgh Comicon and met Zach Revale, the illustrator, and he told me about it. I heard kids talking about it and then found out some representatives were there, and that's how I met Zach. But thank you for the welcome
the community looks great and can't wait to dive into some discussions with you guys.-

Currently reading The Freakshow by Bryan Smith. Pretty good so far, starts off intense and hasn't slowed down yet.

It was better as The Rising.
Seriously though, I couldn't get past a few chapters on Cell. King is worse now than he ever was.
Couldn't disagree more about King but I respect your opinion. IMO The Rising was better than Cell though.

No way, it's a classic, lol. Just goes to show that everybody is different. I absolutely love Keene. I'm a bigger King fan but come on, Keene pretty damn good.

His stories can be entertaining, but sometimes his execution leaves a lot to be desired. I really don't have anything against him though. And I do read him when the story sounds interesting.

I think he executes his stories better than anyone in the business.

I'm a pretty big fan Kirkman's The Walking dead or Ellington's Zombie University

I'm almost through A Storm of Swords. It's taken me at least a month because I really only read this during my lunch break at work.

I finished Storm of Swords and then went through The Polysyllabic Spree by Nick Hornby. It was a fun and short read and it gave me some books to add to my wishlist on Amazon.

Just finished a couple of days ago. Really great murder mystery set in the mid-1980s referencing the "Satanic Panic" that was taking place during that time.
