I like "Class of 1984."

Never seen the others, though I have seen the Tom Berenger "Substitute" and all (?) of its sequels.

'84 is still pretty entertaining.
'99 is still pretty crappy, but you get Pam Grier and some creepy Stacy Keach action (not to mention the ghetto Terminator knock off.)
'99 pt.2 not really good at all, but it features the girl from Maniac Cop 3 topless.,, oh and Nick Cassavetes.

I don't know if I can say the same for the Berenger/ Treat Williams series.
I saw the first one in the theatre (not bragging) and it was cool.
(Along the lines of The Principal with Belushi and Lou Gossett Jr.)

Serpico - 4/5

Having just read the book, I gave the movie a spin again. Follows the book as close as it can, and does a pretty good job with it.

Probably one of Pacino's best performances (when he was young and didn't yell so much. :lol:

)

How could that be 'directed' at me, or anyone else? It's the lame The More You Know screen that was beat to death in the 90's. Now that it's almost 2010, seriously, you're still using it? The same lame schtick for almost 20 years now? From the previous century? Do you wear spats still? Do you drive a horseless carriage? Did you know that Alaska and Hawaii were made states? Are you some weird mixture of John Titor and Benjamin Button, and the older you get the more you travel back in time, so that these The More You Know gags are still fresh? Seriously.
